Sounds of wild creatures: LAPC

Sounds of wild creatures, the large and the small,
Pulling our attention, leaving us enthralled

Small Black-throated Sparrows pause and perch high
Singing unforgettable melodies to deep azure skies

  1. Lovely poem to pull us into your National Park visits, Siobhan. I love the bugle of elk. It tells me it is autumn. Just like many song birds remind us of spring. And the gobbles…well they don’t last long around Thanksgiving. Just kidding. I love the sparrow in the azure skies.
