I was fortunate to share a moment with a wild rose near Clarno, Oregon. It is beautiful and delicate when viewed close up.
Some people are always grumbling because roses have thorns; I am thankful that thorns have roses.

Weirdly, I didn’t even know there WERE wild roses! These are quite beautiful, love the soft pink. Lovely images.
Yes, they are pretty with a soft scent. We had Nootka roses growing native in our yard at another place I lived. The birds love to eat the rose hips on these shrubs. 🙂
