We are lucky here in Bend to have artists such as Greg Congleton who can transform collections of various items into beautiful works of art. To see more of his unique artwork, like this horse of a different color, click here.
Weekly Photo Challenge – Transmogrify
You are lucky indeed. This is a nice transformation using what I would have called scraps and trash! Nice find for this challenge!
Thanks! Be sure to check out the artist’s site to see more.
Does the horse have a name or is it a horse of no name?
His name is Charlie.

Beautiful form and movement in this sculpture. Is it metal?
Yes, that sculpture is made of steel. Lots of miscellaneous parts from cars, etc. in it.
He did a great job!
Yes, he did! There was a bison in that spot by the same artist but it sold. I was missing it so I’m glad he brought in another one of his wonderful pieces.
I love horse sculptures!
And you are fortunate to have the artist living amongst you!
I do too! There are a few others here that I will feature in future posts.
Looking forward to seeing them!
