I saw this old oak tree at Newgrange, County Meath, Ireland last winter. I think they are one of my favorite trees without leaves. Look at those branches!

    • When we were trimming trees on our property years ago, my daughter asked us to cut down one of them. It was a dead snag that looked like it had “arms.” She called it the “ghost tree” and it scared her. We were worried it would blow down in a wind storm so we followed her wishes.
