      • They were married 64 years, just shy of 65 by a month when my grandfather passed away. That was 1989. They were poor and my great-grandfather didn’t approve. My grandmother ran off at 17, lied about her age and married my grandfather. 🙂

      • Yes it certainly did! 🙂 They were only 6 months apart in age. He died at age 82. We thought she would be shortly after, but she lived almost another 10 years. A week from her 92 birthday. It will be 20 years since she passed on December 18th this year. I miss them! 🙂
