Delicate petals of nodding hollyhocks filtered the sun’s light

Snapdragons filled the landscape, exploding in shades of pink

Plump, soft strawberries rested on ripples of steel

Ripe raspberries clung desperately to vines before finally falling

It’s easy to sometimes overlook the fruit and flowers in your yard. The Lens-Artist Photo Challenge this week reminded me to pay attention to the beauty in my own yard.

  1. I am happy to see so many fruits and berries too! Sometimes they are neglected, but should be higher ranked in gardens. Beautiful photography.
