Yes…a thing of wonder. I am always amazed at how quiet snow sounds. And your pictures reflect it. Even though deer can be commonplace, I could sit at your vantage point for hours (with hot chocolate) and watch them.
Yes, I always like how snow muffles sounds. My resident deer are always entertaining!
Gorgeous! I usually think of Bend as dry and hot, but I love this B-side! Ice can be terrifying and beautiful at the same time and not everything can make that claim. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks, Bonnie Rae. We have 4 distinct seasons here in Bend. Snow came late this year. We have had freezing rain lately and that makes thing challenging. Pretty, but treacherous. Much warmer temps this week. Yay!

We have had the ice here as well, Alanna. It shut down 92 miles of Hwy 97. Not fun at all! Thankfully, it’s warmer this week. Hope it’s warmer there as well.
