Some things in nature have patterns in whirls,
Other things are smooth and plain
Some things in nature are velvety soft,
Other things have rough, bumpy surfaces
And in underwater worlds, things may be patterned or smooth
soft or rough and bumpy

I really enjoyed all of your choices from nature. My favorite is the velvety soft.
Thanks! That buck's antlers were still covered with velvet.
Very clever Siobhan. The underwater image nearly addresses it all!!
Thanks, Tina! Yeah, I thought the last one tied it all together.
Great nature choices, Siobhan. I liked how you flowed smoothly from one photo to the next. The underwater photo is my favorite.
Thanks, Egidio! I like the photo I took at the Seattle Aquarium as well.
lovely pictures...
Thank you! :D
Wonderful nature selection Siobhan 😀 They work so well for the challenge
Thanks, Brian! I threw that one together really fast.
It didn't seem like a quick throw together post. But when you have loads of photos that come to mind, it is easy isn't it?
Yes, it is! Lots of options with that prompt.
A clever and different approach to the challenge Siobhan :) I really like that pretty bird though I have no idea what species he is!
Thanks, Sarah! That's a Cedar Waxwing, one of my favorite birds.
Siobhan, I love your nature photos, especially the deer wanting to photobomb your view. >grin< Echoing, Tina's comment on the underwater image.
Thanks, John. The deer are in my yard almost everyday. They like the water feature behind the buck (and also my landscaping plants). Glad you also liked the aquarium picture.
Don't you still love collecting pinecones? I do. Loved that photo and the cave sure invites a wonder. Great response.
Thanks, Donna! Yes, I love pinecones. Subway Cave in California was VERY dark but pretty.
Brilliant photos, Siobhan, the cones and the last one are my favourites this week.
Thanks, Sofia! I've been waiting for good prompts to post those.
I loved the one with the deer, Siobhan! They're all great, and it's a great response to Anne's challenge.
Thanks, Joanne! My "pet" deer love posing for the camera. 🙂
