This morning, while out walking along the Mill A Loop Trail, I noticed many of Bend’s leaves of fall.
This aspen tree was surrounded by gold and green.
The towers of Deschutes Brewery and the old train station were framed by trees of red, gold, orange, and green leaves.
The red stems and leaves of red osier dogwood stand out in contrast with green shrubs growing nearby.
This oak tree’s leaves showed every color of autumn.
An old snag was completely covered with red-leaved Virginia creeper vines.
There are great opportunities to see Bend’s leaves of fall when you walk near the Deschutes River as it winds its way through town.

Beautiful fall colors! Love the last image especially.
Thanks, Amy! I'm trying to take lots of photos before they disappear.
Nice pics of the color of fall.
Thank you!
Wonderful colours - I especially like the way the Virginia Creeper has covered that old tree trunk!
Thanks, Sarah! The creeper leaves turn a beautiful co.or in the fall.
Simply stunning, Siobhan.
