Barn owl drawings, painting, & photos: First Friday Art

Today I’m sharing a few pen and ink drawings I did of barn owls. There is a Barn Owl character in a book I’m working on. Her name is “La Clave”, The Key. I like to do drawings of characters I’m writing about.

I use a picture of a Barn Owl I painted on a rock as my WordPress profile picture. I’ve shared it before. This rock had the perfect shape for painting an owl on it.

Here are a few pictures of a Barn Owl from my archives. They are such elegant-looking birds.
