I really liked this Bozeman wall art at the recently remodeled Bozeman Hot Springs. The facility was remodeled with a more modern style. I mention this site briefly in a recent post and will feature it in a more detailed post in the future.
I used Corel PaintShopPro 2021 for different photo processing effects. In the original image I slightly increased the contrast and fill light and cropped the edges. Use the slider to view each effect compared to the original.
This one shows the original photograph and the same picture with a Retro effect. For this image I went to Effects>Photo Effects>Retro Lab>Light cold. I liked how this effect makes the green color stand out. The blurring around the edges focuses your attention on the artwork.
The next one shows the original photograph and the same picture with a Film & Filters effect. For this image I went to Effects>Photo Effects>Film & Filters>Warm earth tones>Warming filter. I liked how this effect enhances the chair color and the dark background on art
The next one shows the original image and the same picture with an Infrared effect. For this image I went to Effects>Photo Effects>Infrared Film>Weak. This effect highlights the edge between the background and plants on the art piece. The varying textures stand out with this effect.

Cool effects!
Thanks! It's fun to see how they change the original. :)
This is a fascinating piece of wall art. I think your different treatments led me to think of the art in different ways. When I first saw it I thought of an underwater grotto with different corals and anemones, then I saw it as a top down view of a rain forest between two bodies of water(it reminded me of taking a cable way over a rain forest near Cairns).
Thanks! Yes, that artwork looked very different when processed differently.
So different and interesting results. Not something I have tried but thinking that I should. 😊
Thanks! It's fun to try some of the many different effects in photo editing programs.
These are great and using the slider is a great way to show the changes
Thanks, Brian! The slider is a great tool for this kind of thing.
So is PaintShop Pro
