Paddling beneath the clouds
Floating lacelike
Over lakes of lifegiving water
Puffs of pale exhalations
Follow meandering rivers
Striated, pointillist, and fluffy celebrations
Settle over mountain ranges
Converging clouds, dark and ominous,
Unleash torrents of rain
Trotting beneath the clouds
Illuminating the horizon
Through a mist of lifegiving water

Siobhan, these are quite impressive. Beautiful gallery!
Thank you, Egidio! I had fun with the editing on that one.
Oh my, Siobhan, those clouds are amazing in black and white. Love your weather, especially seeing the rain come down in the distance!
Thank you, Anne! I'm glad you liked how I presented them in black and white. I took a lot of pictures of that impressive thunderstorm. :)
Nice photos
Thanks, David!

Thanks, so much, Graham!

Impressive indeed Siobhan, loved your interpretation this week. Loved the puffy clouds and the storm in the distance especially, as well as your verse - and B&W was a great choice.
Thanks, Tina! I love taking pictures of clouds and sometimes I "see" them in black and white.
Siobhan, these are impressive pictures of clouds and I especially like seeing them in B & W. Great job!
Thanks, Sylvia! Some things just look better in black and white.
Great photos, suitably weathery!
Thanks, John! There were lots of options with a "weather" prompt.
Beautiful. Monochrome is a wonderful choice for these.
Thanks! Clouds look great in monochrome.
Excellent decision to go on monochrome. It adds so much, not just drama, but texture and depth. Wonderful photos.
Thank you, Sofia! You're right, black and white adds all those things.
I love the way you started with all calm and meandering river and walked us through the changing weather with your poem and photos. The B&W was a nice dramatic touch. Especially loved the first with the kayak. Such an intro, in more ways than one.
Thanks, Donna! I tried to make it into a little story. Thanks for noticing. 🙂
I definitely noticed. I thought you might end us in the ocean, and loved you brought it to "life". Nice.
😁♥️
