I saunter along distant trails, not knowing what wonders nature will share with me.
Will falling water sing between rocky cliffs?
Will earth show its origins in the soil?
Will wind turn wheels of history over parched plains?
And when I return home from distant trails, will fireworks light the skies?

Thanks, Becky! 😄
Can't wait to see Painted Hills ! Always lovely to see and enjoy your observations.
Thank you, Bonnie! The Painted Hills are great - as long as it's not hot out. 🌞
Nature's grand artworks, beautifully captured and shared. Thanks, Siobhan.
Lovely post and a great way to tie the different challenges together :)
Thanks, Sarah! Writing a piece exactly 51 words long was the most difficult part.
I can imagine!
I'm sorry I'm so late reading this Siobhan! I must have approved it and forgot to read!! You captured the four natural elements so beautifully (I love Multnomah--need to go again!). What a great story in 51 words, well done!
No biggie! I'm a professional procrastinator. :D Thanks for your comments, Terri!
Dazzling images Siobhan from some truly beautiful places. I loved your captions as well. Beautiful post!
A beautiful post indeed Siobhan. Lovely images and thoughts as well. I love your beautiful landscapes. 😀😀
Thanks so much, Patti!
Love these. Love Multnomah falls. I really like the Fort Rock one. So stunning.
We were lucky hardly anyone else was at the falls. Fort Rock is one of my favorite locations!
