Having to use "the facilities" in the dark of night is really scary for a little boy! Memories from long ago visits to rustic places.
Yes, I have some of those memories as well. Our last house was a summer cabin for the previous owners. It had a two-seater outhouse. Luckily, it had indoor plumbing by the time we bought it. 🙂
