When it’s as hot as it’s been (102 degrees here yesterday!) I wish I could do a little cooling off by being an otter. Here are three cooling otters in motion.
They always look like they’re having so much fun.
Can you imagine sliding down an embankment and cooling off in a clear mountain stream?

Yes, they truly seem so joyous and playful; we could all learn a lot from them! 🙂
That's for sure!
They're such charismatic creatures!
Yes, they are! I could watch them all day. 😁
The colors and how they transition, the smooth texture of the otters, and the lines created by the otters as they swim...nice image, really nice.
Thank you! It's not perfectly in focus, but that shows their motion. They don't stay still for long! :)
They are really fascinating creatures and their slim lines in the water while swimming is very cool to follow. Talk about having fun!
Yes, I agree!
My husband and I lived on Otter Island Road. In 17 years I only saw 1 Otter!! Thanks for the fond memory!
That's a nice name for a road. Sorry you didn't get to see otters more often.
Each photo is a gem. wonderful! Lyn
Thanks! 😁
These are such fun creatures to watch.
Yes, they are!
I love Otters too, in the Uk we have, though only ever saw them in the zoo, they are a good example of playfulness, agree with Tom’s comment there.
Yes, I agree with Tom too. They are a special animal I never tire of watching!
