Yes, they were very bee-sy.
Lovely picture. Arriving from the East Coast in late summer, I had not seen ripe purple Oregon Grapes before. I canned a wonderful meat relish made with them and nuts which we enjoyed for a long time. I have lost the recipe or I would include it.
