Always love to see a drip of color in the desert. Dain't flowers in a harsh environment.
My Mother, Ruth Webb Campbell, said this was her favorite flower. She summered in the Rockies near Denver, her home, with her Grandparents, and saw the Indian Paintbrush every time she went there. Seeing it here made her love the Pacific Northwest all the more.
