I have fond memories of plucking the slender blossoms of honeysuckle from their twisting vines and sucking the “honey” from the delicate flowers. A sweet memory. Have any of you enjoyed the sweet treat hidden in these flowers?

A sweet memory indeed. In the Maryland, VIrginia District of Columbia area, honeysuckle is as prevelent as blackberries are to the State of Washington. Honeysuckle was still enjoyed, no matter that it had to be controlled, just as blackberries are eaten and savored in the Pacific Northwest.
