South Sister from Hosmer Lake, Oregon
My yard is blanketed with fresh snow and temperatures are in the teens but I’m glad I can think back to a warm summer day kayaking on Hosmer Lake. I hope to explore many new horizons in the new year and share them here.

Beautiful capture! Oh, how I envy you the snow blanket ...
Thanks! The snow makes everything look so pretty.
My kind of horizon--one with a mountain in it. :-) We have snow here in the Chicago area and are expecting more, maybe quite a bit more, over the next few days. The only mountains, though, are mountains of traffic.

Glad you liked my mountain photo. It looks like you will be having some cold temps and snow soon.
The cold has already arrived. We had some of that heavy, beautiful snow that sticks to everything on Sunday. The remnants are still here, but it was stunningly gorgeous that night and Monday morning.
Keep warm!
